Saddle up for Fun at the 2016 Washington Horse Expo

The Washington State Horse Expo is one of the top equine events in the Northwest, attracting thousands of horse owners from all over the western region. Featuring national experts, first-class entertainment, premiere vendors, plenty of shopping and kid-friendly activities. It’s the horse enthusiast’s event of the year! The 6th Annual Washington State Horse Expo will be held at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds this February 19, 20 and 21.

See national experts, television celebrities and outstanding spokespersons attending the 2016 Horse Expo, including Julie Goodnight, Sharon Camarillo, Craig Cameron, Steve Rother and more. Plus, experience one of fastest growing equine sports across the nation – Working Equitation – an exciting combination of speed, dressage and obstacles. This sport is unique in that you can compete with any type of horse or tack.


Other ‘Don’t Miss’ moments coming up at the Washington State Horse Expo include:

The popular Saturday Night Equine Extravaganza (on February 20th). Produced by Ridgefield Equine Clinic’s Dr. Meg Brinton. This show will feature amazing displays of horsemanship by the Expo Clinicians, the magic of the BlackPearl Friesian Dance Troupe, a little fun with Francesca and the Tiny Trio, a very special performance by Morgan Wagner and her blind horse Endo and much more! The Saturday Night Extravaganza is a must see for anyone who loves horses. The Marketplace will close at 6:30pm on Saturday night and the Extravaganza will start at 7:00pm. Admission to the Extravaganza is $5.

The Extreme Cowboy Race is back with $3,000 in cash and prizes to the top three riders! Returning again, this very popular event will feature competitions on Friday and Saturday with Finals on Sunday in the Jack Giesy arena. The Extreme Cowboy Race was originated by the first “Original Extreme Cowboy,” Craig Cameron. Craig has achieved national recognition and prominence as a true cowboy and is known as being one of the finest horsemen in the United States. A member of the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and Culver Riding Academy Hall of Fame, Craig Cameron is always a crowd pleaser!

And visitors will also enjoy activities that include Chesna Klimek & Pip – 2015 Intermediate Working Equitation National Champions together with Morgan Wagner and Endo, Marvin Pierce’s Cowdogs, Mounted Archers, a fun mule demonstration, and much more!

Another fantastic reason to come to the Washington State Horse Expo is over one hundred vendors selling tack, clothing, services, accessories, feed, and so much more. Dozens of booths will be showcasing a fantastic array of options not regularly found in one location.

Tickets and Admission are $11 for Adult’s, Seniors (62+ ) are $9, Youth 7-12 – $9 and Kids under 7 are Free. Parking is $6. You may also find pre-show discount tickets at participating Wilco Stores.
