The 15th Annual Riverside Concert Series will be having their final concert of the season on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Marina Park and will feature Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts!
“The Riverside Summer Concert Series has continued to grow in popularity and each year brings more new faces and families,” said David Ripp, Executive Director. “With a delicious variety of food vendors, games for children and great entertainment, it’s a family-friendly destination the Port is proud to sponsor.”
Rocket 88 will start the evening and play from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Their song list draws from five decades of popular music including rock and roll, country, swing, rhythm and blues and MORE! Fun, imaginative and professional, Rocket 88 aims to please and provides great entertainment that will keep you begging for more!
Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts will take the stage and entertain from 8:00 pm to 9:30pm. This show is a toe-tappin’ tour of the Golden Era of Rock and Roll playing tributes to such legendary artists as Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Bill Haley, Buddy Holly, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, and the Supremes. Classic oldies that will make you want to get up and dance!
The Riverside Concert Series is a free event put on by the Port of Camas-Washougal at Marina Park. Come early and enjoy the natural setting and scenic beauty on a stroll around Marina Park’s walk path. For those who wish to keep track of the distance, seven laps equal one mile. See how many miles you can walk! In addition to the walking path, there are picnic tables, shade trees, and a deck overlooking the marina.
