Celebrate the Holiday season in the Ridgefield tradition with Hometown Celebration. Things look a bit different this year, but there are still ways to celebrate the season, connect with your community, and enjoy a town flooding with holiday cheer.
Downtown Ridgefield will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland for the month of December with lights and decorations galore. Take a drive through downtown with holiday music on in the car, or bundle up and take a walk. You will find holiday villages displayed in windows, garland, wreaths, holiday selfie stations, and more. Enjoy the holiday charm of Downtown Ridgefield.
Have you decorated your home for the holidays? One excellent way to spread holiday cheer is with holiday lights and decorations. Decorate for the holidays in some way, whether it be your door, your window, or your whole house; then on Saturday, December 5th, from Noon-3PM Santa will travel around town to drive by and admire your handiwork and reward the best-decorated home. (Note: contest is for decorations within the Ridgefield city limits).
Gather your family and head to RORC between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Saturday, December 5th for the drive through Tree Jubilee. The drive-through experience will feature bright, beautiful lights, fun inflatable displays, live radio broadcast, the giant Ridgefield Lions tree, and a tree decorating contest. You will be the judge in the People’s Choice tree decorating contest – multiple Ridgefield non-profits and businesses are decorating a tree for you to admire and vote on right from your mobile device.
