The Clark County Recycled Arts Festival was presented a 2018 Game Changer Award from Vancouver’s Downtown Association. The Recycled Arts Festival was named People’s Choice for Favorite Event.
The Recycled Arts Festival will celebrate 14 years in downtown Vancouver at this year’s event June 29-30 at Esther Short Park. The event will host more than 150 artists who create handcrafted items using at least 75 percent recycled or reused materials. A number of local musicians will provide entertainment, and food vendors will offer a variety of meal options throughout the event.
But, the Recycled Arts Festival is about so much more than art…or recycling. It’s free family fun and entertainment. It’s education. It’s, it’s…well, it’s an experience!
The Vancouver Downtown Association association’s annual awards honor local “people and businesses who bring their special vision to our downtown and make good things happen,” according to the association website. Last year, nearly 40,000 guests came out to join in the fun.
