Childs Play in Vancouver.

puddlesplace4Puddles Place at the Water Resources Education Center, a bright and colorful space for children ages 1-5-years, is an interactive space for parents and toddlers to learn and play. Kids can crawl through the tunnel and climb on a play structure, explore activity bins, and view the fish, frogs and invertebrates in the aquaria. A wide variety of puppets and toys encourage youngsters to expand imagination and understanding of nature.

Puddles place, opened in 2001, is located at the east end of the Water Center’s first floor. The semi-separate, safe play environment also provides an incredible 270-degree view for our young guests and their parents.

Toys are cleaned weekly and new toys are added and rotated regularly. Some favorites of our young visitors include:

* A magnet table, which allows children to move bugs and scorpions around a painted environment with a magnet wand

* Puppets, from fish to fowl, which frequently become the lead actors in the popular Puddles Place Puppet Theater

* Puzzles and foam blocks

* A wide selection of nature and eco-themed preschool books

Come see how easy it is to learn and play, the fun way, at Puddles Place! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
