Planter’s Days is celebrating 100 years of community this weekend, Thursday, June 16 to Sunday, June 19, 2022, with four days filled with tons of family fun. Better yet, after a couple of years of limited activities, this year’s event features a return to the full-scale live and in-person fun.
Over the course of the four-day event, Woodland lights up with all kinds of family-friendly fun – from the Pet Parade on Thursday to the Car Show on Sunday.
Don’t miss the fireworks spectacular on Thursday night. There’s also a Children’s Parade on Thursday (Editor Note: while the Pet Parade requires a leash, we assume the Children’s Parade does not, act accordingly.) :)
Of course, any great community event must have a talent contest! Plus, don’t miss the wild and wacky Bed Races, or the fantastic frog jump competition. And get this, there is a Beard and Mustache contest happening on Sunday, with the winner getting all kinds of bragging rights.
The big Cruise-in happens on Saturday night and then wrap up the weekend with the Car Show on Sunday.
