Other events over the four days will include: Thursday: Children’s Parade, Coronation, Fireworks; Friday: Carnival, Bingo and show events; Saturday: Grand Parade, Markets, and a load of great fun!; Sunday: Car Show, Raffle Drawing, and Talent Contest.

And then there’s the don’t miss events like the annual Fireman’s Barbecue and the chance to cheer on your favorite team on during the annual Bed Races!

Check out a listing of the entire Planters Days schedule of events.

Planters Days, first held in 1922, is the longest continuously running civic celebration in the State of Washington. The four-day festival celebrates the completed construction of the dikes along the Columbia and Lewis Rivers preventing the annual flooding devastation that had historically wreaked havoc in the Woodland area.
