On June 2, 2021, nine volunteers from the TMG Family of Companies partnered with three employees from Maid to Sparkle Inc. to complete the first Operation Home Rescue project home for a local Veteran, Clifford Booth.
Some of the services provided to Mr. Booth included rebuilding the steps off the back porch, cleaning the gutters, landscaping, and interior home cleaning. Additionally, in-kind donations from JonesLandscaping and Lowes were provided. In total, TMG employees volunteered over 45 hours on this project.
Mr. Booth, a Navy “Seabee” Veteran who served during the Korean War, was grateful for the services provided by TMG. He said, “I feel that I’m a very lucky person to have you… you’re good at what you do. A dozen trucks pull up, and you jumped out and started working!” You can watch the Operation Home Rescue video HERE.
Operation Home Rescue has two more projects assisting local Veterans, one in Yacolt and another in Downtown Vancouver. Operation Home Rescue is administered and funded by TMG Cares, the non-profit division of The TMG Family of Companies, in partnership with the Clark County Veteran’s Assistance Center (CCVAC).
Applications for the next round of Operation Home Rescue takes place between July 15th and August 15th, 2021 for work to be completed in September 2021. To apply, visit: https://tmgnorthwest.com/operation-home-rescue/
