A national building industry organization, Roofing Technology Think Tank (RT3), comprised of a group of roofing professionals focused on technology solutions for the roofing industry, recently elected SW Washington business owner Wendy Marvin, of Matrix Roofing and Home Solutions, to fill a position on their board of directors.

“We are very excited to welcome Wendy to the board,” said Karen Edwards, RT3 director of communications and engagement. “They are believers in the power of technology for the roofing industry and will be instrumental in helping RT3 continue to be the voice of technology in the industry.”

Wendy Marvin, owner of the locally-owned and operated Matrix Roofing, said “At Matrix, we are passionate about great roofs because we believe it is the thankless hero to a family’s security.”

Darcy Altizer, Director of Innovation at Matrix, added “We recently expanded to add a new Handyman/Home Solutions program due to the number of requests from customers. With this service, we offer siding, windows, doors, small repairs and large remodels.”

Roofing Technology Think Tank (RT3), is a consortium of thought leaders exploring emerging technology solutions for the roofing industry, striving to inform contractors by bringing together progressive and disruptive solutions that help build the professionalism and appeal of the roofing industry. The think tank meets six times a year, four virtual and two live with a focus on learning about new and emerging technologies.
