Learn How to Grow and Restore Native Plants

hey! sharing is caring :)

Are you getting ready for some new landscaping? Or do you want to improve your yard with native plants that are more beneficial to our local eco-system?

Then come out for the Master Gardeners Foundation monthly educational meeting on June 6th at 7:00 pm. You will have the opportunity to listen to and speak with Chad Stemm who specializes in Ecological Restoration.

The meeting will be held at the CASEE Center in Building B/Room 202 at 11110 NE 149th Street in Brush Prairie.

Chad will cover the basics of restoring native plant communities, site preparation, plant selection, maintenance and using native plants in the landscape.

He brings his experience from the last 20 years in the horticultural field; including nursery growing, landscaping, habitat restoration, invasive species management, organic vegetable production, farmers markets and CSA operation.

Chad is passionate about plants and their role in our ecosystems, our communities and our lives.

This talk is a great opportunity to learn more about how you can help in small ways right in your own back or front yard!
