Learn How to Garden For and Attract Pollinators

hey! sharing is caring :)

Bees, butterflies and moths…oh my!

Come out on June 3rd (10:00 am – 12:30 pm) and learn about these pollinators and many others who perform a tremendous service as they travel from plant to plant and flower to flower.

The WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardeners and Clark County Public Health presents: Gardening for Pollinators at the Pacific Park-Natural Demonstration Area, located at NE 18th Street and NE 172nd Avenue.

Without these creatures we would not have the fruits and vegetables we enjoy so much and they are under tremendous stress as their numbers are declining.

This presentation will discuss how to support pollinators in our community and right in your own back yard.

Afterwards stick around for a group activity installing a community pollinator garden within the public garden spaces. Participants will receive a free pollinator-friendly plant to take home (one per family).

No registration is required and this event is FREE with 45 minutes of service at the demo garden. Bring a lawn chair and your work clothes.
