A Landscape Good Enough to Eat

hey! sharing is caring :)

Yes it may be December, but this is the best time to plan for next year’s yard and garden projects.

Have you ever thought of getting a little more out of the plants you use to make your yard beautiful?

On December 5th the monthly Master Gardener Foundation meeting may have some ideas for you.

Artist turned ecologist Nick Lake will be presenting: Edible Landscapes for Abundant Futures Pt.1 : Holistic Context at 7:00 pm.

The meeting will be held at the CASEE Center at 11104 NE 149th Street (Brush Prairie).

This talk will explore how we are planting today versus taking a new approach to be a better steward of this place we call home and create a “greener” plan of action.

About the Presenter

Nick Lake took his passion for art and evolved it to include the craft of growing biological “sculptures” that might otherwise be called farms.

He received his Permaculture Design Consultant Certificate in 2012 and has since studied with various leaders of the field of Regenerative Agriculture.
