Klineline Kids Fishing Derby is Reel Fun

hey! sharing is caring :)

Send your child back to school with some of their own great fish stories to tell. There is still time to enter the Klineline Kids Fishing Derby for their chance at fame and fortune.

The Klineline Kids Fishing Derby typically takes place in the spring over a two-day period at Klineline Pond, but unfortunately, the in-person event had to be cast aside this year due to you-know-what.

The good news is there is still time to reel in some fun – and prizes – at the Klineline Kids Fishing Derby Virtual Edition going on now through Labor Day.

So, how do you participate in a virtual fishing derby?

First, take your kid(s) fishing, and remember, good things come to those that bait.

Next, post a picture of your child having fun fishing and/or with their catch of the day on one of the Klineline Kids Fishing social media sites. Photos must be posted by September 6, 2021.

While one of the goals of fishing is to catch a fish, you don’t even have to catch a fish to be entered. Because as every fisher-person knows, the fishing is always good, even when the catching is bad.

The fishing derby is open to kids ages 5-14 years old. There is also a special needs fishing derby open to any individual with a personal disability. Be sure your picture clearly shows who is fishing and/or who caught the fish.

Pictures can be posted to Klineline Kids Fishing on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. For more information, visit Klineline Kids Fishing Virtual Event online.

Did we mention there will be up to $500 in prizes awarded?
