Felida 4th of July Kids Parade
Annual Parade and Activities; Something for Everyone!

Calling all friends, family, and community member; join the Felida Neighborhood Association for their annual 4th of July Parade and after-parade activities in the park.

The roads will be blocked at 11:00am to prepare for the parade procession, which commences at 11:15am at the NW 127th gate of the park and heads north on NW 39th Ave. The Grand Marshals will be leading the way on the antique fire engine and wrapping up at 11:45, back at the park.

The fun doesn’t stop there! Until 2:30, the park will be alive with music from the famous Vancouver Community Concert Band (Dr. Jim Rourk), various educational and community displays, fire engine rides, face painting, games, and activities, including an opportunity for kids to earn school supplies, toys, and other prizes. There will be free hot dogs, bottled water, and refreshments.

This is a free event. No motorized vehicles, political campaigns, or throwing candy. All riders must wear helmets. Bring lawn chairs, sunblock, and umbrellas (for the bright sunshine or the liquid version the NW is famous for!). Decorate yourself and your bike, trike, or wagon in our country’s patriotic red, white, and blue. March, ride, watch, and wave.

For more information on the event, to be a sponsor, or to set up a booth, contact Dr. Milada Allen at 360-573-4030 or email [email protected].
Felida Park is located between NW 122nd and NW 127th St.
