Rocksolid Community Teen Center invites all teens in the 5th-12th grade to attend “Teen Takeover” a fun event to be held Friday, April 28th at the Battle Ground Community Center from 7:00-10:00PM.
For only a $5.00 entry fee teens will be treated with numerous activities to make this “takeover” a ton of fun. Michael Wansley, better known as Wanz, who is featured in the six-time platinum single “Thrift Shop” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, will be the emcee for the evening and sing a few songs. The current NW Rock Academy band will be performing. The Northwest Rock Academy’s mission is to help students learn how to perform rock music, giving them the confidence to rock a crowd. A DJ from High Fidelity will be entertaining as well.
Teens will get to enjoy pizza, soda, smoothies, and popcorn. Teens will also be able to take home a keepsake from the Photo Booth, and there will be Door prizes galore.
“The Rocksolid team is very excited to be partnering with many sponsors to create this incredible evening for youth in our community. We hope teens will enjoy the event and find out more about Rocksolid and what we offer every day after school,” stated Marcy Sprecher, Executive Director.
Prevent Together will have a booth setup with prevention information and impaired goggles for teens to learn the dangerousness of being impaired. Teens should bring school id to check in for age verification.
