Hoops for HOPE Tourney Tipoff Event

hey! sharing is caring :)

H.O.P.E. stands for ‘Help One Person Everyday’. And the tipoff for the Hoops for HOPE 3-on-3 basketball tournament is coming up Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Vancouver Mall. That weekend will have games with teams of all ages and skill levels, families, and sports enthusiasts. The games will be played on half courts spread throughout the parking lot on the NW side of the mall, and will serve as a nice preview of the big-time event happening later this summer.

Formerly “Hoops on the River”, the original founders have come back to bring a new improved version. Hoops for HOPE promises to be a fun-filled destination weekend event, and this years’ main Hoops for HOPE tournament will be held on August 19-21, 2022.

The mission of Hoops for HOPE is to create an environment of serving one another through helping others leads to uplifting our communities, our neighborhoods, schools, families and ourselves. When this becomes a habit, the world seems to be a little healthier and HOPEful.

The Hoops for HOPE tournament benefits the Hope for the Good Foundation. The foundation’s Steve Oberst scholarship will give youth the support they need to pursue their talents and passion, attend various sports camps, play league sports, or other activities, which will enrich their lives – on and off the court.
