Happy Trails to You

hey! sharing is caring :)

Go Take a Hike in Clark County.

Did you know that Clark County has more than 75 miles of trails? To be honest, I didn’t know how many miles of trails we have; so when I read about the new Clark County Trails Map that was just published, and that it was FREE, well, I went down to the Marshall Center and picked up a copy.

“Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation recently partnered with Kaiser Permanente and local public land managers to publish a free trails map. The Clark County Trails Map was developed in order to improve access to, and awareness of, local trails throughout the county.

The map includes a large countywide map showing trail locations. It also provides more detailed maps and information about features, length and difficulty for six highlighted regional trails:  Burnt Bridge Creek Trail,  Captain William Clark Park Trail at Cottonwood Beach, Columbia River Renaissance Trail, Frenchman’s Bar/Vancouver Lake Trail, Moulton Falls Regional Park Trail, and the  Salmon Creek Greenway Regional Park Trail.”

The map also provides contact information for a variety of other city, state and federal trail providers operating in Clark County. You can view and download the map on-line on the Vancouver-Clark Parks and Rec website or pick one up for free at the following locations:
