How to Grow a Garden in Small Spaces

hey! sharing is caring :)

Do you want to grow your own food or are you dreaming of a garden, but you think you don’t have enough room for one?

Well this workshop presented by WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardeners and Clark County Public Health-Solid Waste Outreach is perfect.

Come out on Saturday, June 17th and learn about “Gardens for Small Spaces” in downtown Vancouver.

This hands-on workshop, from 10:00 am to noon, will cover how to select your site, choose easy-to-start-with vegetables, and will include tips on maintaining a new garden…all with limited yard space.

Kiddos are welcome to join in the fun, so make this a mid-day activity for the whole family.

After the presentation, please stick around and give back by helping install a raised bed garden at the new home of a Habitat for Humanity family!

This workshop is FREE, but space is limited to 20 participants. Click here to pre-register or please call 360-397-6060 ext 5738.

Bring your own water, be sure to dress for the weather and be ready to get a little dirty. Also it is a good idea to bring along some sunscreen just in case the sun decides to come out and visit!
