Girls Night Out, Camas Style

The 13th annual Camas Girls’ Night Out will be a vibrant evening of shopping, pampering, art, dining, and much more, all benefiting two local women’s health charities. The event is on Thursday, September 22nd from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm in Downtown Camas. Everyone is welcome to attend this fundraiser for breast and ovarian cancer awareness and action in support of the Pink Lemonade Project and the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Oregon/SW Washington.

The “Self-Care Suite” is a newly added element to this year’s event. Located inside the beautiful lobby at Fuel Medical, the suite will be filled with local wellness and beauty merchants offering complimentary services to make eventgoers feel pampered and cared for, including eyebrow threading, chair massage, zero-gravity chair light therapy mat, and more. These are just a few of the beauty and wellness offerings available that evening.


Attendees can purchase specialty cocktails at the Pink Lemonade Stand inside Lily Atelier, hosted by and benefiting the Pink Lemonade Project. They will also be hosting the ‘Bra Pong’ game, a longtime crowd favorite. Fun games and activities will be stationed throughout Downtown, as well as raffles for a variety of prizes including a $500 Downtown Camas gift card tree, donated by local merchants. DJ Linus will be back again this year creating an upbeat music experience for the evening. This year will also bring the return of the not-to-be-missed end-of-evening program emceed by Shannon Van Horn. She will be hosting popular games including ‘What’s in Your Purse’ and ‘Boobs & Ovaries’ – Camas Girls’ Night Out version of Heads or Tails.

Other activities for all that register include: Fashion Show, Body Art, Swag Wagon Fun, Girly Photo Booth, Collaborative Art, Wine & Chocolate Tastings, Salsa Classes, Treats, Goodies, Freebies, and more. Plus wear pink or teal and get a free raffle ticket.

Advance tickets $20, $25 at the door, purchase advance tickets here. Event day registration starts at 3PM at the Downtown Camas Association tables located at 4th & Birch in Journey Church.

“It’s so meaningful to support women’s health causes in such a fun way,” says Leah Nichelson, Event and Project Manager at the DCA. “There has been a truly amazing outpouring of sponsorship support this year, and we’re using that support to make this event more fun than ever! We’re adding more music, more art, more pampering, and more prizes! We encourage people to bring friends, family, coworkers, and anyone else that loves to make awesome memories while they’re making a positive impact in their community!”

There is free public parking for the event in the City parking lot on Adams between 6th and 7th Avenues and throughout Downtown Camas. If you’re being dropped off at this event, there will be a special drop-off location in front of truly scrumptious, at 231 NE 4th Avenue.
