How to Garden for Wildlife with Master Gardeners

hey! sharing is caring :)

Living in the Pacific Northwest gives the opportunity to interact with so many types of native birds, mammals, amphibians and more. Providing for these critters needs encourages them to come closer and stick around, allowing you to connect and commune with the wild.

This is why WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardeners and Clark County Public Health-Solid Waste Outreach are hosting a workshop about “Gardening with Wildlife”.

This class will cover simple techniques on how to invite wildlife into your backyard garden.

On July 22nd and August 12th (10:00 am – 12:00 pm) come out to the Luke Jensen Sports Complex (4000 NE 78th St, Vancouver, WA 98665) to check out this FREE event.

Bring gloves if you have them. Children 8 and older welcome.

After the presentation, participants will help assemble habitat structures-bird and bat boxes-for placement at a nearby park.
