The 149th Clark County Fair takes place Friday, August 4 through Sunday, August 13, 2017, and the Clark County Fair Association has created a marvelous lineup of thrilling features including DockDogs, Cowboy Boot Camp, and the all-new Game On! feature area filled with activities for the whole family. Plus, get all the rides, food, fun and adorable farm animals you can handle!
The Clark County Fair Concert Series will kickoff the Grandstand entertainment for the first four nights with the sounds of classic rock and kicking country featuring Old Dominion, the Marshall Tucker Band, the B52’s, and Melissa Etheridge. Reserved seating tickets are available for those who want to get up-close (reserved seating tickets also include Fair admission) or enjoy free seating in the Grandstand.
Then comes all the heart-thumping action you can handle! The Clark County Fair has your fun planned out at the Grandstand with great entertainment, thrills and spills – all free with your Fair admission.
Get ready for some rodeo action as Bull Riding and Mutton Bustin’ takes center stage on Tuesday (August 8). See some of the top riders in the Northwest compete. Plus, kids won’t be outdone with Mutton Bustin!
Catch some big air on Wednesday (August 9) and watch some Freestyle Motocross at one of the biggest motocross shows ever as riders throw down some of the wildest tricks imaginable, including backflips, whips, superman seat grabs and more!
Expect a messy day filled with mayhem and amazing crashing on Thursday (August 10) for the Demolition Derby. Always a crowd favorite, check out the smashing and crashing with amazing cars, drivers and even the return of the Motorhome demo derby.
Cheer on the local folks Friday and Saturday (August 11-12) during the Tuff Trucks competition. This is always an
action-packed event (and one of my personal favorites 8-) )filled with high flying thrills and spectacular spills!
Monster Trucks will pound the ground for the final night of the Clark County Fair on Sunday (August 13). There will be six Monster Trucks plus the Wolf Pack for a total of nine trucks!
The Clark County Fair is excited to present the ultimate competition zone filled with your favorite classic games, virtual reality experiences, and all-new wacky, wondrous and weird games you have to try! Game On! has non-stop activities areas at which you can compete against your friends, your family and even people you’ve never met for the chance to win bragging rights and awesome prizes! In the Game On! feature area you can try your hand at Soccer Darts, a racetrack style NASCAR pit stop tire change game, the Bungee Run, a Golf Simulator, a Speed Pitching Cage, Mini Golf, the Extreme Soccer Shootout and so much more. Plus, there will be classic video games, unreal virtual reality simulators, a digital graffiti wall, a dance heads booth and even giant versions of Connect 4 and Jenga! It’s time to get your Game On!
The Clark County Fair is known for its fun midway, strolling acts, crazy antics, animals, exhibitors, fun features and food and this year will be no different!
