Then you don’t want to miss the “Military History Talks” and the “Annual Military History Conference” presented by Vancouver Barracks Military Association (VBMA).
These talks are a one-hour, free community event hosted by the Fort Vancouver National Trust at the Marshall House (1301 Officers Row). They take place on the third Thursday of the month beginning at 6:30 pm, unless noted otherwise.

April 20th: “C-4 Does Not Float” a talk spanning the Vietnam War to the Global War on Terrorism with speaker, Timothy Shotwell.
May 3rd: “The M1917 Army Ambulance” with speaker, Jack Giesen.
NOTE: This talk is on a Wednesday and will be the public unveiling of the completed replica of the Model 1917 US Army Ambulance to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of World War I.
May 3rd-7th: “The 51st Annual Military History Conference” presented by the Council on America’s Military Past (CAMP). To learn more about the CAMP conference or to register click HERE.
June 15th: “The Other Spanish American War” with speaker, James Moody.
