Clark County Fire District 6 is inviting the community to visit its Hazel Dell Fire Station (8800 NE Hazel Dell Avenue) on Saturday, June 6th from Noon to 4 PM for an afternoon of fun and learning.
The day will include car extractions, K-9 demonstrations by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, a Life Flight helicopter visit, low-cost bicycle helmets provided by Southwest Washington Medical Center, fire engine rides, a junior firefighter challenge where kids put on turnouts and spray a fire hose, tour an AMR ambulance, and much more.
The Salmon Creek Lions club will cook and serve free hot dogs donated by Northwest Natural Gas, free chips donated by Frito Lay, pop donated by Corwin, and snow cones and popcorn donated by People’s Community Credit Union. This event guarantees great fun for the entire community. Everyone is invited to attend!
