Come choose your own nature adventure at Family Nature Fest, a celebration of Clark County’s natural treasures.
Columbia Springs will be the place to be on October 14th (10:00 am to 2:00 pm) to play games, have fun with crafts, check out hands-on presentations and win prizes.
There will be family fun for all ages with slug races, reptiles, amphibians and an exploding volcano.
If you want to venture out and about, you can learn about foraging for fungi on a guided hike.
Or you can check out these local organizations that will be on-site…
Clark County Historical Museum, Columbia Gorge Refuge Stewards, Friends of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, Master Composter/Recyclers, Mount St. Helens Institute, Oregon Zoo, Stream Team and Waste Connections.
Family Nature Fest is free, however, a $5.00 suggested donation per child is appreciated to help Columbia Springs continue this fall tradition.
