Family and Friends Mental Health Seminar

hey! sharing is caring :)

Do you have a loved one with a mental health diagnosis? It’s hard to see someone you love in pain and it’s confusing when someone you know well is not acting like themselves. You know how you would take care of them if they had a cold or flu, but what can you do for their mental health?

Learn more at the Friends and Family Seminar on Saturday, January 20, 2018, 10:00 am, put on by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).

NAMI Family and Friends is a 4-hour seminar that informs and supports people who have loved ones with a mental health condition. Seminar leaders have personal experience with mental health conditions in their families.

Participants learn about:

Different Diagnoses
Treatment
Recovery
Communication Strategies
Crisis Preparation
NAMI Resources

While there is no charge to attend, space is limited and pre-registration is required. For more information, visit NAMI Family and Friends Seminar Vancouver online.
