Fadin’ by 9 and Misty Mamas at Magenta Theater

These popular bluegrass bands return to Magenta Theater this January and you will have two opportunities to join us and enjoy a night of music at Magenta Theater.

The Vancouver-based Fadin’ by 9 is made up of the talents of Dave Irwin, Joe Lapidus, Seth Moran and Ben Shafton. When they take the stage, they energize audiences with a unique brand of bluegrass and Americana. Come and enjoy Joe’s burning banjo, Dave’s suave 6-string, Seth’s profound fiddle, and Ben’s beat-booming bass.

The Misty Mamas; Carol Harley, Katherine Nitsch, April Parker and Eileen Rocci, brings timeless melodies and heartfelt lyrics that are laced tightly together, creating a musical experience rich with history. Their style embraces the American genres of bluegrass, old time, gospel, folk and country music.
