Experience a Touch of Dutch at the Woodland Tulip Festival

hey! sharing is caring :)

Nothing says hello to Spring more than walking through acres of blooming fields filled with tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths.

The Woodland Tulip Festival at the Holland America Flower Gardens is a local favorite that you don’t want to miss. This unique celebration offers walks through the tulips fields where you can pick your own flowers, a photo op with the giant wooden shoes, activities for the kiddos, local art and food vendors, music, contests and a gift shop where you can take home bulbs to create your own beautiful display.

Make your way up to 1066 S Pekin Road on April 15th, 16th, 22nd and 23rd (10:00 am – 4:00 pm) to experience a little bit of Dutch tradition.  “You are welcome to visit us anytime from sunrise to sunset seven days a week in April. The gift shop will be open Monday through Friday 9-6 and Saturday/Sunday from 10-4. The U-pick has an honor box for your convenience if the gift shop is closed.”  This event is perfect for the whole family.

This festival is FREE and parking is provided, but make sure to plan your day since this is a very popular event. Get a free catalog by visiting their website.

About Holland America Flower Gardens

The Dobbe family came from Holland to begin a life in America in 1980. Coming over with tulip bulbs and 3 children, they settled in Woodland, WA with it’s rich soil and cool temperatures.

As the land bloomed, so did their company. In 2002, the first Woodland Tulip Festival was launched. The Dobbe family loves to give back to the community that has given them so much. They open their farm to families in order to share the love of flowers.
