I know I’m dating myself, but growing up I used to love going to the Drive-in Movies. As a young child, my parents took us to the Hazel Dell Drive-in; and as a teenager, my friends and I would go to the Renfro Drive-in. Anybody else remember those?
Well, it’s time to relive those glory days of summertime outdoor movies! Join Pop-Up Cinemas at Vancouver Mall for a safe and fun-filled drive-in movie night.
Enjoy watching some classics from the comfort of your car on a 35-foot inflatable screen; the audio will be FM transmitted. The drive-in movie event will be shown in the Northeast parking lot between JCPenney and Jimmy Johns.
The movie will begin at sundown (approx. 9:00 pm). The parking lot will open for guests at 8:00 pm. Parking spot location is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Motorcycles, vans, and tall vehicles that can fit in a single parking space are permitted, however, no walk-ins are allowed.
Space is limited and is $20 per vehicle. Both mobile and printed tickets will be accepted upon entry. You can pre-purchase your ticket thru Eventbrite. Tickets will be available at the gate until SOLD OUT.

Thursday, August 6th: Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse
Friday, August 7th: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Saturday, August 8th: Shrek 2
Everyone in attendance must abide by all social distancing guidelines, so please remember your masks for when you are outside of your vehicle. Portable toilets will be available for emergency cases, but it is requested that you use bathroom facilities before attending the event.
Food and drink will be available for purchase during the movie event from the following Megan’s Snack Shack.
Vancouver Mall stores close at 7:00 pm. Feel free to shop, dine, or use the facilities prior to mall’s closing. Los Pepe’s Mexican restaurant is open for dine-in or pick-up until 10:00 pm and Outback Steakhouse closes at 9:00 pm.
