Evergreen Public Schools donated over 11,000 masks, along with thousands of splash shields and hundreds of pairs of safety glasses to Clark Regional Emergency Service Agency (CRESA).
The district collected the medical supplies from multiple schools and buildings. The masks, shields and glasses came from the schools’ “Shelter in Place” kits, health rooms, medical and dental programs, and other College Career & Technical Education (CCTE) programs.
“We wanted to provide our First Responders and Healthcare professionals with tools that they need to protect themselves during the COVID-19 outbreak. We know that CRESA will get these supplies to those that need them in our community,” said Evergreen Public Schools Superintendent Mike Merlino.
