There are lots of things that mark the beginning of spring…turning the clocks ahead one hour, baseball spring training, the crocus beginning to bloom, and the opening weekend of the Vancouver Farmer’s Market.
Opening day for the Vancouver Farmer’s Market is Saturday, March 16, 2019, but will open in a slightly different location. They will maintain their location next to Esther Short Park but will move from West Sixth Street to West Eighth Street. The new spot also means there will be more room for some new vendors.
This is the 30th anniversary of the market which is now home to over 250 vendors and the second largest in the State of Washington. The Vancouver Farmers Market is a pet-friendly place where you will discover fresh and local produce, flowers, plants, baked goods, delicious eats, pet treats, and accessories for yourself, home, or garden.
The downtown Vancouver Farmers Market is open rain or shine every Saturday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Sunday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, from March 16 through October 27, 2019.
