What better way to celebrate Earth Day than to get out give our part of the earth, and our beautiful parks, a little love? The Port of Camas-Washougal announced that this year’s Earth Day activity will take place at Washougal Waterfront Park and Trail on April 22, 2019.
“We invite the community to join the movement that continues to inspire and motivate people to action,” said Port Chief Executive Officer David Ripp.
Volunteers will meet at Washougal Waterfront Park at the picnic shelter next to the Port Office located at 24 South “A” Street, Washougal, and collect litter along the trail and river as time allows. The cleanup is from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Trash bags, latex gloves, and light refreshments will be provided for all volunteers.
“We look forward to seeing you!”
