In our day to day lives, sometimes we forget the importance of remembering those who have, and still do, fight to protect our freedoms and way of life.
“Race to Remember” is not just the name of a race but also the name of a military nonprofit which has the intended purpose of ensuring our communities never forget the sacrifices that our brave men and women of the military and their families make every day to continue to protect our Freedom.
The organization hosts several events throughout the year as well as puts together military care packages for those deployed and our homeless vets here. Other community projects include “Soldier in the Classroom”, “Thank You Cards”, “Books for Soldiers”, and “Honor Flights”.
