With objectives to raise money to feed the hungry, raise awareness about issues surrounding hunger and poverty in local communities, and to show that through artistic creativity, people can make a positive change, the Woodland Action’s 3rd Annual Empty Bowls Project aims high.
Join Woodland Action on Friday, November 9th, for the 3rd Annual Empty Bowls Project at Woodland High School at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $20 per person, $40 Date Night package, and $75 for a Family Four Pack.
Guests will enjoy an evening of entertainment and art in supporting families in the community struggling with hunger. Each person will have a meal of soup and bread served in a handmade ceramic bowl made by Clark College Art students. There will be a silent auction with one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces from students and professionals. All proceeds from the event will go towards the Woodland Action Center’s Holiday Meal Program.
The Empty Bowls event has been continually successful due to immense support from the community, artists who donate, volunteers, and local restaurants.
