Magenta Theater chose the Cinco de Mayo celebration day as the day to launch their streaming, one-of-a-kind production of Oscar Wilde’s “The Importance of Being Earnest”.
You may think you’ve seen this play produced in a variety of ways before, but I’m sure you’ve never seen anything like Magenta’s take on the tale.
“The video features 1-5 minute clips, filmed at home, by concessions volunteers, box office personnel, directors, actors, ushers and a variety of whimsical, nonsensical characters. It won’t win any Oscars (LOL…get it?) but it will make you smile, laugh, and maybe giggle.
