The “Dog Days of Summer” First Friday in Downtown Camas returns on July 7th and this year the festivities will be in Mardi Gras style!

The “Dog Days of Summer” is
celebrate pooches and their best friends.
All around downtown Camas, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm there will be doggie activities, vendors, live Zydeco music by The Mudbugs, kids’ crafts with a dog theme and so much more.
At 6:00 pm don’t miss the Talent Contest and Dog and Owner Look-alike Contest, then at 7:00 pm, get ready to walk or cheer at the new Camas “Barkus” Doggie Costume Parade.

The West Columbia Gorge Humane Society will be on hand that evening to help educate the community about dog adoption and will also have some fun activities planned.
So bring yourself and your favorite pooch (leashes required) dressed in your Mardi Gras best to enjoy a night out with your dog in Downtown Camas.
