Enation is kicking off their West Coast Tour from their home state of Washington on June 29, 2012 at the Noisebox in Camas…for FREE! “We’re really stoked to be playing a concert right near our own backyard. Finally! Come join us as we kick off our tour.” ~Enation
To say that Enation is a ‘local band’ might be a bit mis-leading. While it’s true that the members of Enation hail from Battle Ground, their footprint as an independent band has a national, if not international, imprint. The band, which released it’s first album in 2004, has had national exposure and success having it’s music featured on TV shows and films such as ‘One Tree Hill’, ‘Stephen King’s Riding the Bullet’, and ‘General Hospital’.
The band has been compared to the likes of Radiohead, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, and U2. Much like the bands they are compared to, Enation audiences seem to be left breathless by the passion and power of their live concert experience. “We believe music can change atmospheres,” lead singer Jonathan Jackson says. “That’s one of the reasons we love playing live concerts. The possibility in the air is electric. I’ve grown to love some of my favorite bands through their live concerts before I really got into their albums.”
Enation is an indie band that has a lot of people talking. With all of their collective achievements and the horizon looking so bright, this may be the last time you get to see Enation and say ‘I saw them when…’ Go see Enation this Friday in Camas and see for yourself.
