Downtown Camas Vintage and Art Street Faire

hey! sharing is caring :)

The 7th annual Vintage and Art Faire will return to the charming streets of Downtown Camas this year on Saturday, August 29, 2015, from 9am-4pm. This event brings over 60 vintage, antique, and local art vendors that fill the town with all things vintage, repurposed, and artful.

Vintage offerings include a huge variety of indoor and outdoor furniture and home and garden items as well as clothing and accessories. Art was added to the event last year and includes quality sculpture, paintings, glass art, metal work, handmade jewelry, fiber art, recycled art, and more. The faire is on 4th Avenue and Birch Streets, near Camas Antiques, 305 NE 4th Avenue.

Returning favorite vintage vendors include Aunt Adeline’s Vintage Jewelry, Moltwear repurposed vintage clothing, and Dare to Dream, which brings an eclectic mix of vintage items displayed around and throughout a red and white vintage trailer. New vintage vendors include Whimsical Details with canvas pillows, repurposed furniture and silver; and Dollhouse, which features shabby chic upcycled finds.
Returning artists include Late Night Lampworks with recycled glass and tin jewelry, Black Rabbit & Co with fabric art and vintage treasures, and Silver River Designs with unique batik handbags and photography. New artists include Tamra Sheline watercolor artist, Claire Bandfield stoneware artist, and Visual Lifesavers Art, original oil paintings.

Live music accompanies the all-day event and includes jazz guitar and upright bass by Anthony Utehs and Jonah Svihus from 9-1030am , Carol Rossio Jazz Trio with many songs in French from 11am-1:30pm, and the smooth indie sounds of Caryn Jamieson from 2-4pm. Fresh food options will include sweet and savory waffles by Hello Waffle, Getta Gyro, My Dad’s Kettle Korn, and pies and pastries by Truly Scrumptious.

“Downtown Camas with its historic buildings, tree lined streets, and wonderful shops is indeed beautiful in its own right,” says Sarah Voss, Vintage Vendor Coordinator for the event. “However, with the Vintage and Art Street Faire, the historic streets transform into a picturesque little market.”
