Take a look around your house and load up any electronic waste that might need to be recycled because you don’t want to miss the annual electronic waste recycling event hosted by the Information Technology students at Cascadia Tech Academy (formerly the Clark County Skills Center).
On Friday, February 24th from 9 AM to 1:30 PM and Saturday, February 25th from 10 AM to 3 PM, bring down all unwanted computers and cellular device to the Cascadia Tech Academy’s facility at 12200 NE 28th Street. The materials collected at the event will either be used by students or recycled in environmentally friendly ways.
Glass televisions, computer monitors and appliances are not accepted.
The Information Technology program at the academy is a two year curriculum for high school students. This program provides core skills and knowledge necessary for entry-level employment in the technology field.
