Clark County and the City of Vancouver remind residents to help prevent leaves from piling up on streets, where they can block stormwater drains, cause flooding and create driving hazards.
To make the job easier, residents can take advantage of coupons for free leaf disposal until December 20, 2013 at four locations: City Bark, 2419 N.E. Andresen Road; H & H Wood Recyclers, 8401 N.E. 117th Ave.; McFarlane’s Bark, 8806 N.E. 117th Ave.; West Van Materials Recovery Center, 6601 N.W. Old Lower River Road.
Be sure to print your coupon here, and just as a reminder, free disposal is offered only for leaves, not assorted yard debris and leaves must be emptied from bags when brought to one of the four locations.
