Day of Service Opportunities for MLK Day

hey! sharing is caring :)

Each year, on the third Monday of January, schools, federal offices, post office and banks across America close to celebrate the life and the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It is a time for the nation to remember his fight for the freedom, equality, and dignity of all races and peoples. A time to remember the message of change through nonviolence.

Take some time to visit a National Park (admission is free on MLK Day and 3 other days of 2018), or join others in volunteering in our community on Monday, January 15, 2018, who serve on MLK Day and throughout the year.
