On September 27th, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am , come enjoy live entertainment and a car show at the Cruise-In Concert 4 Vets. This will be hosted by Global Security and Safeway, happening rain or shine at the Safeway Heritage Market Plaza located at 6700 NE 162nd Ave Vancouver, WA. Several local businesses will be there in support including DeWils, Burgerville, and Pied Piper Pizza. In addition, local artists Karen Overton and Jesse Wade Holyk, will provide some great entertainment while you look at the display of cars.
This event is not just for fun and love of cars, but profits raised will go to benefit the Veterans Community Garden Project through the Clark County Veterans Court Board. The entry fee for the car cruise and show is a sweet $15.00 and there are several prizes to be awarded. To register click here.
Global Security has a special promotional offer for those that attend, they will donate $100 for every new customer that signs up during or by mentioning the event. Also from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm the Burgerville, at the Safeway Heritage Market Plaza, will give back 10 % to the Veterans Community Garden Project and there will be live music and DJ Oldie at that location for the entire day.
About The Clark County Veterans Court Board
This organization assists those who have faced challenges in addressing combat-related trauma, and as a result, have entered the criminal justice system for low-level offenses. The court’s specialized treatment programs help to meet the particular needs of these veterans.
