Who needs a night of free, family fun? It’s movie night in the Park! The City of Camas Parks & Recreation will host Movies in the Park, a family-friendly event featuring kid-oriented movies every Friday in the month of August at Crown Park. Each date will also offer pre-movie entertainment beginning one hour prior to the start of the movie. Come down and enjoy summer in the park.
This year the movie lineup includes:
– August 5, 8:45 pm – Guardians of the Galaxy (2014 Classic PG13)
– August 12, 8:30 pm – Raya and the Last Dragon (PG)
– August 19, 8:30 pm – Sing 2 (PG)
– August 26, 8:15 pm – Encanto (PG)
Attendees are welcome to bring dinner, snacks, or they can purchase novelty treats (i.e. popcorn, candy, etc.) on site. Bring chairs or blankets for seating and note that, to allow fair viewing, chairs are placed in one-half of the park viewing area and blankets in the other half. This is a free event and no registration is required. However, please note that alcohol and animals are not allowed in Crown Park.
