On Friday, May 5th (6:00 pm -9:00 pm) come experience the Bruce Crockett Memorial Quick Draw, a fun and unique event presented by the Ridgefield Art Association (RAA).
The evening, held at the Ridgefield Community Center, will feature eight artists creating original pieces of artwork in a two hour period.
As you watch creations unfold before you eyes, enjoy food, live music, wine, interactive games, a silent auction and more.
Tickets are $25.00 for general admission, $15 for students and $10 for RAA members. Proceeds will in part fund a grant for the Ridgefield High School Art Program.
The creative fun continues on Saturday, May 6th for the 25th Annual RAA Art Fair in Overlook Park. From 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Multiple artists will have their art on display and for sale and there will also be kid art activities. This is part of the May Day First Saturday celebration sponsored by the City of Ridgefield.
RAA also regularly features local artists in the Sportsman’s Restaurant ‘Back Hall’ Gallery in the restaurant, where RAA member artwork is rotated on a monthly basis. And each first Saturday at the Farmers Market at Overlook Park, RAA has an interactive art project for the community.
