No clue where to go for some First Friday Fun? Head to downtown Camas, where First Friday participants will again be invited to solve the mystery of “CLUE in Downtown Camas” on January 6, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Find fun clues in participating merchants to solve the “Case of the Missing Cookies” and earn tickets to enter to win prizes! Dress up as any of the CLUE game suspects (Colonel Mustard, Miss Scarlet, Mr. Green, Lady Lavender, Mrs. Peacock, Mrs. White, Professor Plum, etc) and get 5 extra tickets to win; and 5 lucky people throughout the evening will get a “Secret Passage” card to go straight to Cake Happy for a free extra special treat.
Meet featured artists at the art shows and receptions and enjoy shopping specials throughout town. There are kids activities and even a showing of To Catch a Thief at The Liberty Theatre.
“We introduced this theme last year and people really got into it!” says Carrie Schulstad, Executive Director of the Downtown Camas Association (DCA). “This event is a nice way to spend time together in Downtown Camas after the busy holiday season and have some fun figuring out a case of whodunit in downtown. We like when people get into the spirit and dress up and we appreciate the Liberty bringing a classic mystery film in as well to go with the theme.”
First Fridays are Art, Activities, Dining, and After Hours Shopping themed family friendly events coordinated by the DCA each month of the year to support downtown and bring the community together. For more information, visit Downtown Camas Association online.
