As a follow-up to our original post about the fundraising efforts for K9 Body Armor, we’re pleased to report that the fundraising was successful and that Clark County Sheriff’s Office K9’s Ringo and Jango will receive bullet and stab protective vests, in large part thanks to a charitable donation from non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.
K9’s Ringo and Jango’s vests are sponsored by a fundraiser headed by Aaron Tyger of Vancouver. K9 Ringo’s vest will be embroidered with the sentiment “In loving memory of K9 Lucky.” K9 Jango’s vest will be embroidered with the sentiment “In loving memory of K9 Kane.”
Delivery is expected within eight to ten weeks. K9 Ringo is a four-year-old German Shepherd assigned to Deputy Seth Brennan. K9 Jango is a three-year-old German Shepherd assigned to Deputy Sean Boyle.
