Clark County Historical Museum Open House

Holiday Open House and Artisan Market.

Looking to shop local this holiday season? Want to learn more about Clark County and our history? Then you will want to mark your calendar for the Clark County Historical Museum Open House and Artisan Market to shop for gifts from local artists, and admission to the museum is free during the Holiday Open House!

On Saturday, December 4th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. they will be holding their 6th Annual Holiday Open House and Artisans’ Market with about a dozen local creators of fine art, pottery, textiles, jewelry, and other gifts. Local harp and woodwind duo Celtic Muse will be providing live music, and Legacy High School volunteers will have craft activities for the kids. Refreshments will also be served.

As an Open House, this is a great opportunity to view their current exhibits. The  newest, Autumn Trout Gathering, features Beat-era author and poet Richard Brautigan, and closes January 30. In the largest gallery, Road to Equality: the Struggle for Women’s Rights in the Northwest focuses on the Equal Rights Amendment and suffrage for women. In addition, the collection-based Woven History exhibit is also on display.
