Friends of the Carpenter present their 15th annual benefit concert ‘Christmas with Friends,’ on Saturday, December 2, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 11005 NE Highway 99.
“The holiday season is a wonderful time to step back from our busy day-to-day lives and reflect on the past year. It’s also a time to celebrate traditions, which at Friends of the Carpenter, includes our annual ‘Christmas with Friends’ concert,” said Tom Iberle, executive director. “We invite the community to celebrate with us through the beautiful music of Doug and Judy Smith and the Misty Mamas and to support our mission of changing lives with love.”
The concert will feature Doug and Judy Smith as the opening act, followed by headliner Misty Mamas, a four-piece band playing bluegrass, old-time, gospel and folk.
During intermission, coffee and light refreshments will be served, plus performer CDs and hand-made wood products from Friends of the Carpenter will be available for purchase.
Tickets are $20 or $160 for a 10-ticket block and can be purchased in person at the Friends of the Carpenter office, 1600 W 20th Street, or the 2nd Chance Thrift Store, 3414-A NE 52nd Street.
