On December 13th at Fort Vancouver, you can have the opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of Christmas time in the 1800’s. From 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, at the newly reconstructed Fort Vancouver, visitors will hear caroling by the Madrigal Singers, enjoy warm holiday wassail, make Christmas wreaths and Victorian handcrafts, listen to winter stories, and watch historical dancing.
Don’t forget the camera. You are welcome to capture the decorated fort, costumed re-enactors, Black Powder demonstrations and a re-enactment of how the Hudson’s Bay Company might have celebrated Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Admission to the event is $3 per person. Kiddos 15 years and under are free. American the Beautiful Interagency Passes accepted.
