I love watching Christmas movies, so much so that I have (maybe once or twice ;-) ) been caught watching Elf in the middle of summer! But, there is something special about watching Christmas movies on the big screen (and at Christmas time).
The Kiggins Theatre downtown Vancouver will be showing It’s a Wonderful Life and White Christmas on December 22, 23 and 24; and An American in Paris, December 25 through 29.
The Liberty Theatre in Camas will be showing National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation on December 21; White Christmas on December 22, 23 and 24; and The Nutcracker on December 24 and 28.
There will also be a free showing of A Charlie Brown Christmas, complete with complimentary cookies and popcorn, Christmas carols and a tree decorating contest at Boomerang on December 23. While this isn’t an official “big screen” showing, it is a “can’t miss” holiday movie.
