Find Your Tree by Train.

Over the river and through the woods… No, we’re not going to Grandmother’s house; we’re going to get our Christmas Tree!

It’s time for the Chelatchie Prairie Christmas Excursions! Hop on board for an exciting ten mile (round trip) ride through beautiful North Clark County aboard the historic Chelatchie Prairie Train. The train departs from Yacolt and travels “over the river and through the woods”, and through a 330 foot tunnel carved out of solid rock, on its way to Yacolt Falls and the perfect Christmas Tree. Santa Claus will accompany the train, and refreshments will be served.

“The Chelatchie Prairie Railroad will be operating their annual Christmas Tree excursion runs for the holiday season. There will be 3 runs each day — on Saturday and Sunday,December 7-8, 14-15 and 21-22, 2013.  Santa will be there with a present for each child and complimentary refreshments for everyone. This will be a great time to pick out your holiday tree.” ~Paul Nasiatka, Chelatchie Prairie Railroad.

Reservations and Tickets for the Christmas Tree Excursions are available on their website. CHRISTMAS PACKAGES (Add $15 for Steam) Four Passenger Tickets & Doug Fir Tree ($55) Four Passenger Tickets & Grand Fir Tree ($65) Four Passenger Tickets & Noble Fir Tree ($75)
